The sea water reverse osmosis (SWRO) plant of Rabigh3, in Saudi Arabia has been recently commissioned and is now online.

With a total capacity of **600,000m³/day,** the desalination plant will ensure water availability and reliability to around 2 million inhabitants in the areas of Jeddah and Mecca .

The site is equipped with 44 giant 108m² Dual Media Pressure Filters (DMPF).

The plant started commercial operation on **31st December 2021.**
